11月21日（土）登り窯 公開窯焚きのお知らせ

茂正工房の登り窯（佐賀県有田町）

工房の登り窯の窯焚きを公開します。

薪をくべながら、一日かけて器を焼き上げます。普段はなかなか見ることのできない焼成の様子を、窯の前でご覧いただけます。

日時

2026年11月21日（土）8:00〜17:00

※窯の焚け具合によっては、早めに終了する場合があります。

場所

茂正工房（佐賀県有田町）

お越しになる方へ

早めに終了する場合がありますので、午後の遅い時間にお越しの際は、事前にお問い合わせからご連絡ください。

窯の周りは大変熱くなります。小さなお子様をお連れの方はご注意ください。

Open Noborigama Firing

We are opening our noborigama (climbing kiln) firing to visitors. Throughout the day the kiln is stoked with wood to fire the work, a part of the process rarely seen up close.

Saturday, November 21, 2026, 8:00–17:00

The firing may finish earlier depending on how the kiln progresses.

Place: Shigemasa Kōbō, Arita, Saga

If you plan to visit later in the afternoon, please contact us beforehand. The area around the kiln gets very hot, so please take care with small children.
