佐賀県有田町で「青磁」の器を中心に作陶しております。

青磁は中国に起源を持つ青色や緑色を基調とした美しい釉色を特徴とするやきものです。

日本には12世紀頃から伝来し、茶の湯の発達のなかで日本人の美意識によって選び出され大切にされてきました。

私は有田焼の生まれたこの地で、有田らしい独自の青磁を作りたいと考えています。

I create pottery, primarily celadon vessels, in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture.

Celadon is a type of ceramic ware originating in China, characterized by beautiful glaze colors with blue and green as the primary tones.

It came to Japan around the 12th century and was cherished and selected according to the aesthetic sensibilities of the Japanese people as tea culture developed.

In this birthplace of Arita ware, I pursue a unique celadon that is distinctly Arita.
